Solar Wall light battery died
My new Wall Light Solar won’t hold a charge. (Neither will the path lights, but I’m still trouble shooting them) I have STRONG full sunlight & it’s in a location that I had a generic solar motion detection light, but goes offline overnight. My path lights did the same so I brought them in to charge separately. I’ve got the Wall Light inside now to charge & I can’t tell if it’s charging as the light isn’t flashing like it did w/first charge. The batteries are dated 2021/01/20, so they aren’t old, but I would like replacements.Additionally, I noticed that it has an input for a wired charger? What charger is used for this? As it may be a long term answer ?Help!

I FINALLY "fixed" my problem w/my Solar Wall light battery by buying the DIRECT WIRED power supply for the "Stick up Camera - wired" which happens to fit fine AND keeps the Solar Light charged. Even w/STEADY sunlight for most of the day, it would never keep a charge so I had to constantly take it do

MThanks for verifying for us. Been having same issues my ring wall light and pathlight solar. None of them can keep a charge. Its a shame when my neighbors cheap $5 dollar solar pathlights you can buy at the dollar store actually does a better job holding a charge than these overpriced smart lights a

Hi neighbors. If you find that the battery in your Solar Smart Lighting device is draining more quickly than expected, make sure the solar panel is receiving several hours of direct sunlight each day. I'd also recommend checking the settings, as the battery will drain quickly if your Smart Light is detecting motion and turning on frequently. For more information on battery drain in your Solar Smart Light, please review [this](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041789191-Troubleshooting-Unexpected-Battery-Drain-in-Ring-Solar-Smart-Lights) Help Center article. If none of the information above helps, and you still find that the battery is draining faster than expected, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). It's almost like ring really believes rechargeable batteries last indefinitely. These things are rated for maybe 500 cycles at best so expect them to lose much of their capability in 2 years or less. For the love of God just sell us the batteries! Calling you guys will not make the batteries start working better and trust me I know, you don't have any answers to any questions that we can't already find on your website. SELL THE BATTERIES! or at least give us all of the battery specs, not some of them.
