Solar Panel vs Arizona Sun
I am about to install a Ring solar panel and camera in Arizona. The power cord on the solar panel is very thin and flimsy. Anything like this power cord will be devoured by the intense Arizona sun. What has been your experience with this product in intense sun environments. Thank you

Hi neighbors. The Solar Panel's operating conditions are -5°F to 120°F (-20.5°C to 48.5°C), and it is weather resistant. Prolonged exposure to extreme weather may cause some wear, but these devices are designed for outdoor use. If you notice any damage to the power cord after installing your Solar Panel, we'd recommend reaching out to our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can review your device's [warranty](https://ring.com/warranty) and determine the best solution.

Great question! I too am very worried about this as Ring moves away from using metal to all plastic in their products (e.g., Ring floodlight).
