This device has cause my local fire department to come out twice due to false alarms. This device is so sensitive that it picked up on my parrots high pitched screaming that it thought was the smoke alarms instead. This device should have an option to cancel for false alarms. I had to remove it in fear of another false alarm visit from my local fire department.
Hi neighbors. I wanted to share this Help Center article here with you. This allows you to cancel a Smoke Alarm from your Keypad within the first 30 seconds of the alarm triggering. This can be useful if your Smoke Alarm is caused by a kitchen mishap or something similar.
