Smart Lighting Motion Sensor (outdoors) - Re setup


I purchased many of the Smart Lighting Motion Sensors. They all seemed to work fine initially. However, I decided to move the location of one of them. In the process, I deleted it from my app and the tried to set it up again. However, now the ring app says that it can’t find it.

I have pressed and held the reset button for five seconds - changed the batteries and nothing seems to work.

Any help would be appreciated.


Hi @Mike1967. Thank you for trying those troubleshooting steps to resolve your concern. You can also try doing your setup without scanning the QR code. If that fails, do your setup using a different phone or tablet.
