Our new Spotlight Cam Pro came with a battery that was about 45% charged. So I put it outdoors, plugged in the Small Solar Panel (which is acknowledges is connected) and have watched the batter level drop over the past three days to 9%… It’s almost like the solar panel is connected but not providing any positive charging for the battery. Any thoughts? I suspect a defective solar panel. For reference, I checked that the panel is clean, pointed directly sun-wards (our property is south facing so the sun is generally overhead much of the time).

It is recommended to fully charge the battery, which takes a few hours, before placing it into your Camera with the Small Solar Panel. Fully charge the battery and place it back into your Camera and see if it then trickle charges. We also have this Help Center article with other steps you can try. I am having the same problem. Have 2 batteries installed and both are fully charged. But no solar charging. The solar shows connected. Any thoughts before I call support
