Slooowwww response to movement

I've just had to replace my Ring 2 with a new unit after I hosed the front door it and it stopped working. I thought I was buying an identical replacement but they had changed the mounting plate and a couple of other minor details.All installed fine and old doorbell removed from the app.I have a Chime and have it set so I get phone notification, chime plus Alexa notification when there is movement.With this new one the time from actual movement to any notification is significantly slower than the old one. It used to be a second or two, now it can be 10 seconds or more.I assume that is one of the improvements... why else would that be?
