I propose that you add a feature whereby a user can set a schedule for a door / window / outdoor sensor to be ignored. A bonus would be to add the ability to set this schedule per either Home or Away Mode.
The best example use case is an outdoor door sensor on a fence gate. This gate should normally trigger the alarm if it is opened while in either Home or Away Mode. However, a user might want to have a yard service that comes once per week, say Tuesday mornings between 7:30 and 8:30AM. This schedule would allow this sensor to be ignored on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30AM within its schedule and therefore when the yard service comes, the alarm will not go off when the crew opens the gate.
Other examples include allowing the kids to leave the house via the front door on weekdays during a particular time, or allowing the windows to be open for a breeze during the night.
This feature could be added with a function that confirms that a sensor is “in schedule” before triggering the alarm.
