ring needs a better door knock detection for existing ring video doorbell customer than purchasing another similar ring video device for the peephole. if there is a way to sense a door knock and wire to the existing ring video doorbell, that would be the better solution.
i can’t imagine myself installing both ring video doorbell and peephole cam on the same door for different purpose just to cover the door knock.
