Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) cables connection help pls

Hi to all, need help, I connected to the old Door Bell cables (just use 2 : red and black) and doesn't work as battery recharge (showing Battery as energy source), the device still working by the internal battery. I have 2 more cables (White and Yellow) avaialble but I didn't used. In the Ring installation video the used cables are the Red and White but I tried to use the same cables used before but maybe was a mistake. The old base ring sound device is not working correctly also (ringing without stopping) but that is not important, as I bought a chime the important is too keep the battery recharging by the house cables and I dn't need to take the battery and recharg it.Someone have a tip ?I'm living in Germany so is the European electric standart process, 4 cables, White, Black, White and Yellow.Thank you.

Hi @Proftuga. When hardwiring your Doorbell to the existing doorbell circuit in your home, it will provide a trickle charge to help keep the battery topped off. This means the Doorbell is still going to run off of battery power, but hardwiring it will help keep the battery charged with regular use. If you need help with the installation to ensure everything is set up properly, I'd suggest following up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They can take a look for you and help make sure everything is wired appropriately. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)
