The spotlight on my spotlight camera won't stay off. I go into the settings and switch the lights off. They turn off. Then a couple of seconds later, they turn back on. I turn them off then quickly go to the live view and tap the light bulb to turn them off again and at that point they seem to stay off, for a while. It's not motion, I don't think. I want them to turn on when it senses a person or car pull into my driveway. I gave up last night and just left them on and set the schedule to have them turn off at 5:30 in the morning. They turned off, but a second later turned back on. This is frustrating to say the least. I thought this camera and light would be the answer, but not the way it is operating now.

      I am having the same problem. The lights keep coming on even during the day. Regret buying a RING camera now 😢

        Anyone still having this issue? A system reboot seemed to do the trick for me. For context: Light was on constantly even after turning it off in the app. Moved anything out of the way that could potentially cause motion, same results. Wifi connection is decent at -36 Camera is plugged into 120 outlet. Motion zones are setup appropriately to eliminate any glare from the street and passing cars. Fix: Go into device dashboard (main settings window) > go to “device health” > scroll to the bottom and click on “reboot device” The light came back on upon initial reboot, but then turned off after around 30 seconds. Activated upon test motion and turned off again in accordance with the appropriate interval. Seems fixed.             Also having this problem still in XXXX. Why is Ring ignoring this problem? It has been on here since XXXX. I wanted to post this so it opens the thread back up.

              A year later and rebooting, resetting and cleaning still don't work. Ring said i could return it last year but at my age i cannot go climbing ladders and having it removed by a professional will cost a fortune which ring wont pay. There is something wrong with the flood lights if so many people have the issue.I even setup a schedule to keep the lights off over day but that suddenly disappeared and i did not remove it. For the price we pay it's stupid ring dont care to fix the buggy spot lights.
