Ring pro keeps going offline

I’ve had my ring pro for about 4 months now. The first week it worked great, no problems. Since then it has maybe worked a total of 3 days. It keeps going offline. My wifi signal is great. We upgraded our doorbell transformer thinking that was the problem and it connected right away and then went back offline. I’ve taken it all apart and reinstalled it multiple times checking the connections and there’s nothing wrong. I’m so disappointed I spent the money for something that has been useless.

Hey @Hannahb! It sounds like you’ve covered all the right steps to ensure this is working as intended. Since power and wifi speeds seem sufficient, I recommend also check wifi signal strength. While speeds are important, your Ring device’s RSSI will indicate any interferences. Check out our Community post about RSSI for tips on optimizing signal strength.

If wifi looks good, try performing a reset on the device by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:

Thanks! I will look into the RSSI. I’ve tried to reset it multiple times, it does nothing.
