Ring plan transfer

I had to replace a defective doorbell with a new one. How do I transfer my protection plan to cover it? Its asking me to set up another plan.

Hi @user39224. If your device is being replaced by our support team, you just set up the new device, and your Ring Protect Plan will automatically transfer over. If you purchased a new device as a replacement, you’ll have to cancel the old Ring Protect Plan and create a new one for your new device. You can do this on Ring.com.
