Ring notifications are different than rest of phone's notifications

I can’t find the answer to this anywhere, including on this forum for Ring Alarm, so here goes: why are Ring Alarm notifications the ONLY app notifications coming through as its own sound?
Every other app on my phone (S22 Ultra btw) goes by notification sound set in the phone settings… EXCEPT Ring Alarm notifications. It is so gd annoying.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Hi @rjakjr. The Ring Alarm notifications have their own sounds and cannot be changed on your phone. As we value our neighbors’ feedback, we’ve created a Feature Request board.
