Ring Listener alerting for no reason

I recently installed a listener at a vacation home and it alerts for no reason. I reset the device the last weekend and reconnected it to the base station via the ring app, and it alerted this morning again at 5AM. I received a call from the monitor service notifying me of the alert. This has be happening on a some what consistent basis, specifically when no one is in the home. I have been there multiple times and this false alert does not occur. Once I leave I can expect a false alert about a week later which is what happened in this most recent case. What other options are there with these listeners?

Maybe it’s defective.
Call Support (https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406-Contact-Us) and go through their troubleshooting and then any replacement/return options you might have.

Thanks for the response. I should have mentioned that I have a few of them installed, even though they recommend to use only one. Over time I have removed them one by one because they all seem to be alert for no reason. I do plan to reach out to ring as well.
