I pay for my ring subscription and I’m needing to retrieve videos over a 2 week period from August 14th to the 25th. These videos have not saved on my doorbell or auto-deleted and are desperately needed for a court case! Can I get this footage back and if so how can I retrieve this footage?
Hi @userdave. Did you have an active Ring Protect Plan during this period? If there was no active plan, then there is no footage to retrieve. Footage is only recorded if there is an active plan on the account.
I find even with an active plan, often it doesn’t work properly. And when it does, the ring notification can be 30 seconds or more after the button was pressed. Ring servers are overloaded and they haven’t scaled to their customers growth!
