I purchased my ring doorbell 2nd generation this year in August and the volume is very low i can hardly hear people and they struggle to hear me can i change the volume or do I need a new doorbell?
Hi there, @Stu1988! The two way audio volume cannot be changed for your Doorbell and should be performing at maximum volume. As this audio is being streamed, the best way to improve this audio quality is through an efficient network connection. Checking the RSSI in your Doorbell’s Device Health section of the Ring app can help to confirm if wifi signal is being interfered with. Distance to the router, large appliances, and thick exterior walls are some common wifi interference factors. Ensuring the battery is plenty charged is also important, as it is powering both audio and video. I hope this helps!
