Ring doorbell 2 failing

My ring doorbell 2 has a newly charged battery, but no connection lights, offline, no signs of life.
(The ring uk contact number goes to number not recognised).

Any help much appreciated

Hi @user69059. Make sure the fully charged battery is properly inserted in the Doorbell, then attempt a reset by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. Once the reset is complete, attempt a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device.
