All of a sudden my indoor ring chime won’t power up. When I first plug in I see a blue flash then nothing.

Our 1st gen chime has suddenly stopped working. The blue light on the front is off and it is not connected to our wifi.
I have tried reconnecting but no luck. I’ve tried the chime in another power socket but still no blue light to attempt a reconnection.
My instinct is that the unit has failed. Can anyone corroberate this?
