I had a chime that was no longer responding and the lights weren’t working. I contacted Ring support who sent me out a new chime. I’ve just connected that chime. It then started downloading an update and eventually went offline. It now remains offline. The only sign of life is a single red flash when it’s first plugged in. Is this chime also broken?
Hi @user32434. Have you tried completing the setup process in the Ring app for your replacement Chime? I’d recommend trying this first. If the Chime is not responding, reset it by holding down the reset button on the side for at least 15 seconds. Then attempt the setup process again. if that doesn’t work, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available here.
