Ring Car Cam issues

So, anyone else out there run into the issue I had today?
I was involved in an auto accident at 13:54 today, and this event was recorded on my car-cam. I then showed the officers the footage, and then downloaded it for my auto claim.
Just now, about 15 minutes ago, it’s currently 23:46, I’ve noticed that an entire 15 minutes of footage is just completely gone and missing from my recording history right where the accident was and since it’s gone, there’s nothing ring support can do for me.

So, not only do I have a camera that failed me in its purpose, I have to invest in a second camera so that I know I’ll have a hard copy somewhere.

Let’s hope that, after telling my insurance I had a video and now I don’t, that my insurance will be understanding and I’ll be able to still win this claim. Fingers crossed.

Anyone else have this issue?

A Ring Protect Go subscription is required to download or share videos from the Car Cam.
