Ring App on iPhone 12

I cannot log into the Ring app after I changed my phone to iPhone 12. After I enter my log in password, it says “invalid credentials.” How can this be fixed?

Hello @Snorin ,

Sorry to hear you can’t get back into your Ring account. That’s a pain.

I would first check/verify that if the issue is with your phone, and not your Ring account itself. If you have another device, or know someone who has the Ring App installed on their device, first try logging into your Ring account with your email/password on this other device. You could also try reconfirming by going to https://ring.com/ and try logging into your account there too.

  • If you are successful getting into your account, then yeah, apparently there is something going on with your iPhone.
  • But if you are unsuccessful, then it probably has something to do with your Ring account, and you’ll have to telephone Ring Support for them to straighten it out.

If you determine there is something going on with your phone, then I would:

  • Un-install the Ring App off your iPhone 12.
  • Turn your phone off.
  • Then power up your phone.
  • Re-install the Ring App once again.
  • Re-attempt to log into your Ring App.

If it again says “invalid credentials", you’ll have to telephone Ring Support to assist you correcting this issue:

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19, their available hours have been changed also:

Good luck and I hope you are successful quickly.
