Ring Alerts on Echo?
I posted on another thread that I was looking for a Ring speaker that would allow us to hear entry/exit countdowns in our garage without installing a keypad. A suggestion was made for an Echo Dot, which was great - except I can not figure out how to get the countdown to play through on the Dot. I've played with routines but can't find one that will allow me to have the countdown play on the Dot. Any suggestions?

Hey @willow028. The routines in the Alexa App allow Alexa to say or do something in response to an event being triggered in the Ring Alarm System. However, there isn't a way to have Alexa play the sound of the Entry/Exit Delay through the Echo Dot. In this case, the ideal solution for hearing the Entry/Exit Delay in your garage would be to add another Keypad in the area.
