I got “person detected” alert when the cars went pass. I only turn on “Person” alert, not “Other motion”. What can I do?

Hi @user44961. If it’s not clear whether a motion event contains people due to lighting, weather, or other conditions, what you experienced will sometimes happen. This information can be found in the Ring app when you are in your Smart Alert Settings, towards the bottom.
