Ring 2, Chime 1st Gen , Same Network or various wifi networks to function?

Does the Ring Doorbell 2 Gen and the Chime 1st Gen need to be connected to the same wifi network to function fully or can I have them on separate wifi networks as my house is fairly large and like a Faraday cage with all the concrete and steel . Please advise Thanks.

Hi @spiritburner. Have you tried connecting them to separate WiFi networks? As long as they are in the same Location in the Ring app, there should be no impact to their functionality.
