I dropped my doorbell and now the battery won’t charge at all. Do you know if Ring will replace it for me and how much it will cost? Or if I can get an alternative battery elsewhere online?
Hi, the model you have is a Doorbell with a fixed battery ? If it’s over two years old it will not be covered by Rings limited warranty, and it would not be covered for accidental damage at all.
The battery is design to be fixed and not replaced, so there is no Ring offering like a replacement battery pack.
If you give Ring support a call, they may offer a discount for a loyal customer, or else look out for a deal, or maybe wait for the new small firm factor Doorbell Wired due in the UK soon (avail May, £49 for the doorbell, or £69 approx for Doorbell plus plug in power adapter).
