Can you relocate door sensors to a new door?
Hey @ChuckW. You can move the sensors in your home whenever you see it fit to do so! You may need to purchase more of the Command 3M Double Sided Sticky Tape if you are moving them and this is how you previously had it installed, or you can install it with a screw in the back and screw into the new location for the device. If you need to change the name of the sensor, you will go into the Ring app > Main Menu > Devices > Alarm Base Station > Contact Sensor to change the name of > Gear icon at the top right > Name > Type in a new name and hit save. This way, you can recognize it in the Ring app and your history as the new name!
