Have a setting to auto open live view of a default camera so not to have to click more steps. This would be even quicker.

Are you requesting something in addition to the current option of “Tap Camera Preview for Live View” ?
You can avoid the extra step of to get to “Live view” quicker:
On Ring App, main menu > Devices > select your camera > Device Settings (the Gear icon) > Video Settings > on "Tap Camera Preview for Live View toggle to enable.
This automatically removes the extra click step to get you quicker to “Live View.”

I was referring to the “Rapid Ring” app. which is a scaled down version of the Full ring app.
It has you make multiple clicks to get to the live view and it seems to take over notifications from the full ring app if you click them on within it.
