I installed the smoke/fire alarm listener. If that alarm goes off, is there a delay before the fire department is notified? Our alarm frequently goes off while my wife is cooking and I want to avoid any false alarms. Thanks for feedback!
I believe they will call the fire department first then call you. But either way, you need a new smoke detector and/or reposition the one you have - probably do both. Kitchen cooking should not activate your detector.
