We have Ring Video Doorbell 2 and a Floodlight Camera with video. I get notifications fine and I can hear and see what is going on without a problem. I cannot speak to anyone though so that they can hear me. The apps have permission to access my speaker because I have quadruple checked. Everytime the front door rings and we are not home I have to grab my husband’s phone to speak with whomever is there. Any ideas?
Hi there, @Equals_4! Try removing and reinstalling the Ring app on your mobile device to check for any updates and ensure it is optimally integrated with your mobile device. Checking permissions was a great idea. I also recommend checking for any VPN that might be active or bluetooth, and disable these. If you are using an android mobile device, please check for any android apps that might conflict with the Ring app. I hope this helps!
