Order Status

I purchased a ring security system direct from Ring
It was supposed to be delivered on 12/1
It shipped 11/30
The order tracking says it went to the wrong shipping facility on 12/1 in the early moring
On 12/1 at 4 pm and again at 7pm it says “package delayed in transit”
There is no way to contact the carrier
I tried the online chat with ring, was a waste of half an hour, Moses eventually gave me a number for the carrier. I called it was an Amazon number for employees to report HR issues, go figure
I called and spoke to someone in a call center. Took forever to verify who I am and to give her the order and tracking number. I asked for an update. She proceeded to give me the same info I had given her which I could get myself on the web order tracking
I told her I need better than that. She contacted, I think the logistics company and told me my order was on back order and would ship in 2 to 3 or 4 weeks.
I told her that made no sense as the order tracking said it had shipped on 11/30, I asked her to try again
She got back to me and said logisitcs said it on back order and she could not help any further!
She apologized and thanked me for my patience. I told her it was not her fault
SHE THEN ASKED IF SHE HAD RESOLVED MY PROBLEM, GO FIGURE!
A really bad experience so far

You’re not the only one waiting on your order. In this forum there’s others that have been waiting longer. I placed my order early November after being excited watching the Amazon keynote on what’s new with Ring. I have been waiting almost a month. I received an email from Ring same day as the order was placed and my credit card charged stating it would ship within 48 hours. Nothing shipped, still states processing and Ring Customer Service say it’s on back order and they hope it will ship to me by end of next week.
