No audio even though microphone is on and green

So I just got a gen 1st ring doorbell and when I try to speak through my phone it have no sounds on the ring speaker

Hi @Evan2. Double check that the Ring app has permission to use the microphone in your phone’s settings. The permission settings are usually a toggle in your phone’s settings under each app specifically. If you have any Bluetooth devices connected to your phone, such as wireless headphones, disconnect these before testing out the Two-Way Audio. Sometimes Bluetooth devices can take priority of the microphone on your phone, which could prevent it from being used by the Ring app. Lastly, make sure your Ring app and phone’s software are updated to the latest versions available.
