Hi Neighbors. This shouldn’t be happening. The first step would be to have your circuit inspected by a qualified electrician, ensuring that nothing else is tied into the doorbell circuit and the wiring is of the proper gauge and serviceable.
Next, you’ll want to check HERE to see if the chime kit you are using is compatible. During setup, be sure that you are selecting the appropriate chime kit (mechanical, digital, none). Please use the Pro Power Kit if applicable.
