New chime will not go into setup mode

I just received a replacement chime and no matter what I do the light will not pulse slowly. I have held the side button in for 5, 15, and 30 seconds numerous times, and the light will not pulse slowly.

Hey @mkstretch. Could you try unplugging the device and putting it into another outlet after leaving it unplugged for a hour or so to see if this helps? I have plugged it into 2 different outlets, but I will unplug it for an hour and recheck. Thank you!
