Need Second step verification for Mode Change

In the several months we have actively used Ring doorbell and alarm at out two properties, something unexpected has occurred three times, twice at one property and once at our other property.

The system has changed the Mode Status seemingly all by itself. i do not believe that this has happened, but i now suspect that the app is simply too easy to switch modes and a simple brush, or commonly known as a “butt dial” has happened to change the status. we know we did not conciously change the mode status.

my suggestion is to make a small change to the app that requires a second step to verify that a Mode change is desired. a simple pop up that asks: "Do you want to change the status from <X> to <Y>? If so, press “some button”.

that should prevent accidental and unintended Mode changes.
