My ring chime second gen has no blue light when connected to the powersource

I have a ring chime second gen.
Problem wifi not connected, but also no blue light at the front when connected with the powersupply.
Is the chime at the end of its life?

Make sure your Ring Chime is plugged into a working power outlet, then hold down the reset button on the side for about 15 seconds. After that, try to walk through a new setup in the Ring app under Set Up a Device. If the Chime is still not responsive, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
