I ordered a Ring Doorbell (2nd Generation) and a Solar Charger 2. I can’t mount the doorbell to the solar charger, the screw holes don’t match.
Am I doing something wrong or are these items in the picture not compatible at all?
Hey @wataabirs. Do you have the box for the solar charger you got? It should say Ring Video Doorbell’s Solar Charger 2nd Generation, since you have the 2nd Generation of the original Doorbell. If you bought the one for the 1st Generation, this could be why!
I am having the same exact issue. Purchased Ring 2 doorbell and 2nd solar panel and the screw holes on the bell dont line up with the panel. Wtf? Ridiculous.
