Motion Zones Not Working In Stick Up Cam

I installed a stick up cam yesterday and set the motion zone just to cover inside my front garden as there is a public pathway and other houses also in view. My understanding was that any motion outside my created motion zone would not create a motion alert. But I've had motion alerts every time a person or car passes, even people across the road. I have attached an image to show the zone I have. It clearly shows the motion zone not covering the path outside the wall or further. How do I fix this?

    Sorry I can't help I have the exact same problem with the new customisable motion zones they don't appear to work It was perfect solution for a problem I have in that my spot light camera is picking up cars due to its location I set my zone to exclude the road and yet its still picking up the road. It's a new function I believe so hopefully they sort the bugs
