Live View is not working without subscription

Like other old posts from 2020, live view is not
Working the min your trial subscription is over. I don’t mind if that is what Ring wants us to subscribe. However, I found it deceptive and unethical for a BIG company to use this tactic which I expect from small China firms. Don’t tell me to check wifi, etc, iIt works and never failed when I had subscription trial. I bet my money that there is Ring code (IF statement) to check if your account does not have subscription, it will do nothing or sleep, or do whatever to fake loading. If Amazon engineer can’t fix it, I offer to update your code for free to benefit Ring’s users. Otherwise, don’t advertise that user can use Ring without subscription

Hi @chinhminhdo. A Ring Protect plan is not required to utilize the Live View on your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera. You won’t have access to video recording without a Ring Protect plan, but you should still be able to use the Live View. Is there a specific error message you’re receiving when you try to access the Live View? If possible, please share a screenshot of what happens when you attempt to open the Live View. This would give me a better idea of what you’re seeing on your end so I can help narrow down the issue.
