I recently got a solar floodlight and a motion sensor for my backyard. Both are in the same group but don’t seem to be linked. Is there a way to make it so when the sensor detects motion, the floodlight will turn on?

Hi @asoman. Adding the Solar Floodlight and the Motion Sensor into the same [Light Group](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042232071-Using-Light-Grouping-to-Enhance-Your-Smart-Solar-Lights) will link them together. When one light in a Light Group activates from motion detection, all of the lights in that Light Group will turn on. So in this case, when your Motion Sensor detects motion, the Solar Floodlight should come on if it is dark outside. You can make sure the Motion Sensor isn't disabled by navigating to the Light Group under the Devices tab, selecting Settings > Motion Setting where you will see a toggle next to the Motion Sensor.
