Is it necessary to remove solar panel before hurricane?

I just bought a stick up cam and solar panel combo. I have not installed it yet, but was wondering, in the event of a hurricane (in central Florida), do I need to remove the solar panel to prevent potential wind damage? The plastic bracket looks strong enough for normal wind speeds, but I am nervous about it breaking under the strong winds we occasionally get.

We always encourage preparing for extreme weather conditions. Although our Ring devices are durable, resistant, and weather rated for outdoor use (outdoor devices only), you will know your environment best. Similar to how bringing your battery-powered Ring device during extreme cold temperatures can help, avoiding any direct torrential rain or exposure to extreme wind can certainly help to keep your devices safe.
