After just over one year our Doorbell 3 is no longer working. This was bought as part of a Video Doorbell 3 + Chime bundle (battery). A new battery has been bought and charged but still the same issue, where absolutely nothing happens when the battery is inserted - no flashing blue light when the Doorbell is connecting to the local home wifi network.
Absolutely nothing at all happens when the charged battery is inserted.
The Doorbell 3 is only 13 months old and so outside the warranty period - this is not impressive at all.
Anyway, there is no point in purchasing a Video Doorbell 3 + Chime bundle again, because expensive and we don’t need another hallway Chime.
The Doorbell 3 + Chime bundle is £169, but the original Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) is significantly cheaper at £89.
Question - if we were to buy the Doorbell (2nd Gen) would it be compatible with the Chime bought as part of the Doorbell 3 + Chime bundle ?.
