Increase the timeout time - right now the lights turn off sfter 5 minutes motion is detected. Also, it could turn off when motion is not detected for sometime - that would make more sense. Right now, the lights are turned off when people are still outside.
Yeah, their protocol makes no sense, having motion-activated lights turn off a certain amount of time after motion is first detected rather than a certain amount of time after motion is last detected. The way it is now - their way - the lights can turn off while motion is actively happening! Makes no sense at all.
Although the sensible, obvious protocol should be based on when motion was last detected, at a minimum we should be given the option to choose whether to have first detected or last detected be the metric for turning off motion-activated lights.
The fact that they still use first detected and it’s been 10 months since you posted your comment surely means they haven’t done diddly-squat on this issue.
