I'm Having A Nightmare Trying To Get My Order!@!

I ordered a ring doorbell Pro on September 15th. It’s been a literal nightmare dealing with Ring’s “Support Centre”. I’ve spent 1.5 hours and 3 phone calls and have gotten absolutely nowhere. Ring’s customer service is non existent. I won’t go into details but on the last call I was told that they can see my order is still “processing” (which it has been for 1.5 months) and the item IS in stock. I was told they will “Escalate” things and someone will be in touch within 48 hours. NADA.

On top of this I’m still being charged for their video service which I haven’t been able to use for 4 months and they just renewed it for another year on my credit card.

My order number is 001-3266096 and it’s my hope that someone at Ring reads this and gives me a call.

It’s outrageous that a customer has to resort to posting a message on a forum in hopes of contacting a company that you ordered a product from. If anyone reads this and is considering ordering a Ring product I would think twice about doing so. If you run into a problem you are doomed.

No, we aren’t doomed.
Did you check the order yourself on your Order History page? Order History (ring.com)
Click on the order and in the upper right corner should be listed your items and approximate shipping times.
Due to the general worldwide supply chain difficulties orders are taking much longer. I ordered an item awhile back and it to 6-8 weeks for it to arrive.

Thank you for taking the time to post.

I would think the details of your experiences (and similar ones from other Ring Community members) would serve as a cautionary tale for current/potential customers who are thinking of ordering products from Ring.

When ordering the doorbell it said 1-3 weeks delivery. There’s no shipping, tracking details. All it continually says is “Processing”. Their customer service rep in EGYPT told me the other day that it’s IN STOCK.

Until it is actually shipped you won’t receive any tracking details. It may be in stock, but it takes their warehouse time to process all he orders that are ahead of yours as well.

If you don’t work there I’m sorry but you’re not being helpful.

No one here is going to have access to your account or order information. Calling Ring Support is your only option to get information.

Ring Help is USELESS as described in my original post.

Does anyone have a contact at Ring headquarters, a phone number to their corporate offices or an email address? I can’t deal with their overseas “support team” anymore. They are inept, poorly trained and don’t follow through on their promises. I recently had heart surgery and I don’t need anymore anxiety.

I remember when I ordered my first Ring doorbell a few years back. The customer service was outstanding, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. It’s a shame to see what they’ve become as they’ve gotten bigger.

Hi @zzmac. As @SolarEclipse mentioned, we do not have access to your Ring account and as such we can’t view the status of your order or provide any more information than you have. I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t gotten any update on your order, but you would want to follow up with our support team to check on this. Feel free to mention that you’ve called before and that you were waiting for a call back and didn’t receive it. The support agent you’re working with should be able to handle it appropriately and take down any feedback you have as well as check on your order. Please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available here. If you are outside of the US, please visit here to see how to contact support.

You people are trying to be helpful I understand. Thank you.

If you read my original post I’m hoping someone from Ring monitors these posts (if they don’t it’s incredulous) and can come to my rescue. Caitlyn, you talk like you’re a Ring employee. If you are or you know someone there perhaps you can alert them to my problem.

As far as calling back the “support team” (FOR THE 5th TIME), that ain’t going to happen. I’d rather shove a pencil in my ear and deal with them again. If something doesn’t happen soon my next call will be to the credit card company.
