How to mount on an uneven outdoor surface

I am planning to install some outdoor wireless cameras from Ring, but the picture below is my outside wall:

Since it is uneven, do I need to apply some sort of sealant or silicon gel to prevent moisture from going into the mounting holes? I’m worried about allowing moisture going inside the wall itself, since that can cause water damage or mold.

Hi @brainy19. If your worried about moisture entering through the back where the mount is on your Camera, using a sealant would not hurt. I do not have a specific sealant to recommend; I suggest doing some research on which one would work best for your installation.
