Has anyone used DHCP reservations to disable the EERO DHCP in routed mode?

I recently purchased a new Ring Alarm Pro with the integrated EERO. I would like to run my own DHCP instead of the limited EERO one, but I see you can’t disable the EERO DHCP server.

I noticed you can manually create a small DHCP scope with only 10 clients. Has anyone tried this? Create a small 10 client scope with 10 Mac reservations on Mac addresses that do not exist? Theoretically the EERO DHCP server would never reply to DHCP requests, then you could run another DHCP in the same network that would reply to DHCP requests.

It’s quite a bit of work to build this out and wanted to see if anyone has tried this first.

Thx,
