Glass break sensor
It would be great to have an actual glass break sensor for the alarm system. It’s a real short coming of the ring alarm system that otherwise is a very good system. I do not wish to use an echo to listen for glass break sounds. A dedicated glass break sensor that is fine tuned to the sounds of breaking glass and can pick up the shock waves from glass breakage would be a much better solution

I really do think that we need a glass break sensor. I am disappointed that ring has not added one in yet. It would be a great selling point because some people don't choose ring because they don't have a glass break sensor. Please add a glass break sensor!

I 100% that I will switch soon because there are no actual glass break sensors in your product line. What's the deal with no glass break sensors?

Hi,I notice my request has been 'merged' into this thread but my post was not just about a glass break sensor, but also about when parts in the existing US product line would be available in the UK including smoke/CO listeners, flood/freeze sensors etc? I'd like to see a break glass sensor too, but the references to Alexa Guard in response is especially annoying as we don't even have that in the UK?

How has Ring not made one of these yet? I have no way to know currently if an intruder breaks into my house by breaking the windows rather than opening them. Having an echo in every room of my house is not something I want to do, and not something that can be done by everyone. Please fix this, Ring.

Wyze is launching their security system next year. If there is no glass break sensor by then I'll be moving off the Ring platform completely. The equipment will no doubt be cheaper and the monthly should be near the same. Everyone that wants a glass break sensor I recommend you watch out for Wyze's launch since Ring isn't interested in launching a pretty standard sensor even back in 2010. Alexa Guard isn't enough... It does nothing unless you disable your motion sensors and set your alarm to Away. If Ring could launch a home mode for Alexa Guard I think that could suffice, at least for my house. But alas, they'd rather launch overpriced products that no one's asked for.
