The new plastic ones are flimsy and horrible. I can’t see how they will hold up in desert heat or extreme cold. The new floodlight cams don’t fit on the old metal mounting brackets, so if you are replacing your floodlight cam with a new version, you have to use the new flimsy plastic mounting brackets. That makes no sense at all. So, I opted to replace with the first generation floodlight cam. But, not sure what I am going to do when my first gens stop working.
Also, redesign the floodlight cams so that they fit on the old mounting brackets that many of us still have.
