Flood light camera on all the time

Question

When I look at my ring app it appears the camera on the Floodlight Wired Plus is on all the time. It starts **recording** when it's triggered by motion but I can see a whole days worth of video on my phone.  Is this normal?

Hi @Steve122. Would you mind sharing a screenshot or video example of what you mean when you say you can see a whole day's worth of recording in your Ring App? You might be referring to the Snapshot Capture feature, which is an app feature that takes snapshots at certain intervals. This allows you to review what’s happened in front of your devices in between events.
