It would be great to have a sensor for the ring alarm for an appliance (refrigerator/freezer) that detected power loss on the circuit the appliance was plugged into, and could wirelessly detect the internal temperature of the appliance.

One possible solution could be to use a smart plug with a built-in power monitoring feature that could detect when the power to the refrigerator or freezer is interrupted. The smart plug could be integrated with the Ring Alarm system to send an alert to your phone when the power goes out. For temperature monitoring, a wireless temperature sensor could be placed inside the appliance and connected to the Ring Alarm system. This sensor could send alerts to your phone if the temperature inside the appliance rises above a certain threshold.Alternatively, some newer [refrigerators](https://dgbrefrigeration.com.au/) and freezers come equipped with built-in sensors that can detect power outages and send alerts to a mobile device. If you are in the market for a new appliance, this could be a feature to look for.
