As a cat mom, I love using my Ring Indoor Cam to be able to check on my fur babies whenever I’m away from home. With the Modes feature, I can set it so that my Indoor Cam only records and notifies me on my Ring App that there is motion when I have it in the Away mode. This is perfect, as it allows me to avoid getting notifications when I’m at home, but lets me know when my cats are on the move so I can tap into the Live View and say hi! I wonder if they know I miss them more than they miss me.

- Open the Ring App.
- Tap the three-lined icon in the upper-left corner to open the side menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Modes.
- Tap the Mode you want to configure.
- Set how you want your devices to behave in that Mode.
